Magic Hat Productions was formed in June 2007 with the initial intention of producing Theatrical Productions across London. In September 2007, Magic Hat completed their first feature film which was written and produced by the company.

Set in London, ‘Beatrice Jones: The End of Reason’ follows the journey of Handsome Prince, the dim yet ambitious student from Coventry on his quest to save Svetlana, the poor slave girl being kept against her will in Notting Hill. Handsome has to battle with his conscience, overcome many setbacks and finally fight against the evil Beatrice in this hilarious spoof fairytale.

 Magic Hat have just completed their first major theatre production of The Crucible. The 6 performance run was a huge success and Magic Hat would like to thank all those involved.

Magic Hat is now looking forward to their Summer 2009 project. Details are yet to be confirmed.
